Janette Chow

Associate | Architect | Studio Manager Melbourne

After completing her Master of Architecture and focusing her thesis on Urban Design and Place Making, Janette continues to pursue Architecture incorporating Urban Design principles; acknowledging the combined impact of architecture with place making strategies and its capacity to influence the way people occupy and utilise space.

As a creative and outgoing individual, Janette is motivated by highly functional designs that can create environments that guide both human behaviour and experiences within spaces. Her biggest influence is the built form and the spaces in between.

Janette’s philosophy is that architecture and urban design should be used together to create more dynamic places. Buildings should extend beyond their traditional function as occupiers, to space definers, responding to their surrounding context and having a character unique to its setting.
