A vibrant new community space that is ‘More Lane Cove than Lane Cove’.

The Canopy Precinct is an active mixed-use public precinct with F&B, Performance Space, Nature Play Areas, and BBQ and Picnic facilities surrounding a central Village Square green space.

The jewel in the crown is a vibrant public domain that provides much-needed open space in the heart of Lane Cove village, central to which is the community lawn that caters for recreation and major community events.

The design process was a hands-on, iterative collaboration with council, local community and retail owners that resulted in a considered, detailed space that encapsulates the ‘Lane Cove Aesthetic’ whilst also ensuring the design complimented the existing village centre.

Detailed consultation with local bush care groups resulted in the selection of locally endemic species to re-vegetate the public park.
