Located at Sydney Olympic Park, this world-class netball centre includes 5 international standard courts, a show-court seating 800+ people, education rooms, player, official and spectator facilities, offices and NSW Swifts training facilities – all within a tight, triangulated site.

The Standard & Show Courts within Netball Central are designed to be naturally ventilated with openings at high and low level to encourage movement of stratified air. A thermal labyrinth included below the courts provide free heating and cooling to the space. Temperatures within the courts are maintained between 16°C-28°C.

Our benchmark-setting plans for the centre incorporated sustainable design elements that saved space and delivered a healthier building. Netball Central was funded by the Australian Government, Communities NSW Sport and Recreation, Sydney Olympic Park Authority and Netball NSW.
